More About Me

I'm a mom of two, both of whom are competitive athletes, and keep me super busy. My daughter is a competitive dancer and my son is a competitive gymnast. I have a Master of Science in Crime Scene Investigation and plan to go on to get my Ph.D. in Forensics Anthropology. I'm married to the best sweetest guy ever!

I work full-time for the University of Arkansas, as well as have a part-time job. In my spare time, I practice real estate, own a wedding planning business (Rothrock Events), and a brooch bouquet business (Bouquets by Lacie), and have recently launched my photography business (Lacie Rothrock Photography).

My passion and hobbies are, of course, my children and my family. I also have a weird passion for budgeting and organizing. It's like a personal challenge for me and I love doing both. Having two children who are both competitive athletes means we travel a lot. I've learned a few tips and tricks along the way and have decided to share what I have learned as well as family updates. I plan to post twice a month (the 1st and the 15th).  All in all, our family is crazy busy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
